Brookline has been a much-desired suburb of the Boston area for a long time. Its real estate is sought by many because of all of the amenities it offers. It was incorporated as a town back in 1705 and remains one still today.

It is still a busy suburb. It has a lot of shopping; especially in the Coolidge Corner and Brookline Village areas. There are also many parks and other outlets for recreation.

Brookline is bordered by Boston. This helps make it such a desirable area. Commonwealth Avenue, Beacon Street and Boylston Street provide easy access into Boston. If you don't like to drive, the MBTA provides train service to Boston and other areas through its Green Line.

There are many different types of homes in Brookline. You can find single-family, multi-family, and condos here. Many are very nice. The majority of the single-family homes are priced between $400,000 to $10,000,000. Condos are mainly priced between the low $200,000s to close to $7,000,000. Most of the two to four unit buildings are between $600,000 and $6,000,000.

The city is bordered by Newton and numerous Boston neighborhoods.
